Remove as many small pieces of furniture as possible, such as dining chairs, ottomans, and small tables from the areas you plan to have us clean. We will be glad to help move light weight furniture at no extra charge, such as dining room chairs. China cabinets, sectional sofas, entertainment centers, antique and fragile furniture cannot be moved. However, carpet underneath such items can be hand cleaned where sufficient room is available, or we can edge right around the base. Frequently Asked Questions

You can, but unfortunately your results will differ from ours. Rented equipment does not have the same cleaning power as commercial equipment. In many cases, the spots or stains will come back even worse. The extraction process on rented equipment is not powerful or hot enough to extract the soap from your carpet. It will leave a temporary clean, but over time, the soap residue will attract dirt and grim making the spot even bigger. Professional equipment, procedures, and chemicals will leave your carpets feeling clean and sanitized.

How long does it take for the carpet to dry?

It generally takes between 8 and 10 hours. It all depends on level of soiling, room temperature, humidity, type of carpet and air flow. We will bring in, and setup floor fans to increase air flow during the cleaning process to help speed up carpet dry times.

What should I do before technician arrives?

Do you have a minimum service charge?

Yes, we do. Our minimum service charge is $150, which is equivalent to having 3 rooms and a small hallway in your home cleaned. See our promotions page.

Will steam cleaning damage my carpet?

Steam cleaning or hot water extraction is the method recommended by the worlds largest carpeting manufacturers. Like DuPont, Mohawk, Karastan, and Shaw. Some companies even require you to professionally steam clean your carpet every 12 months to maintain a valid warranty.

Can carpet cleaners clean my carpet for $9.95 ?

Probably not! In order to operate an ethically run business with proper insurance, bonding, training, equipment and, chemicals. it's impossible for a company to make any profit cleaning a room at $9.95. A low cost should be a red flag. In a lot of instances, the consumer ends up hiring a reputable company to come in afterwards to do the job correctly.

Pet odor is a very common problem that could be much more complex than one might think. Pet urine can easily soak through the backing of the carpet and into the padding underneath. In severe cases the urine can penetrate into the sub-floor beneath the padding. This creates a problem that is multi-layered. Urine also provides for the right environment for bacteria to grow. This will contribute to the odor problem and can create permanent color loss of carpet fiber. To eliminate this problem, the urine must be removed or neutralized from each of the layers affected. If the contamination is limited to the face yarn of the carpet. Our hot water extraction process will effectively remove the odor. In more severe cases, a urine neutralizer may need to be applied to the affected area. In the severest cases, replacement of the carpet padding and the sub-floor may be required. Just replacing the carpet, will not guarantee removal of the odor. Visit out our pet stain and odor removal page.
